Essentials Doula Package

$2,000

The Essentials package is the core labor support package. It includes prenatal planning, hands-on birth preparation, on-call support, continuous labor support, backup coverage, postpartum check-ins, and one postpartum home visit.

Before labor

3 to 4 prenatal in-home or virtual visits as needed.
Unlimited prenatal support for questions and concerns.
30 to 32 weeks: birth planning, birth education, and initial questions.
32 to 34 weeks: hands-on body balancing, massage, reflexology, acupressure, comfort measures, and relaxation.
34 to 36 weeks: postpartum planning, postpartum education, what to expect, and basic baby care for first-time parents. This visit may be in person or virtual.
37 to 39 weeks: body balancing birth prep session.
24 hours on call starting 3 weeks before the due date.

When you are in labor

Phone support during early labor.
Continuous labor support at home, at your birthplace, or both, with breaks as needed.
Mindy may need up to 2 hours to arrive from the time you ask her to come, although it is usually much less.
Simple photography services during birth and after the baby is born. Let Mindy know if you do not want pictures or if there are specific photos you do not want taken.
Backup doula support from the doula collective if Mindy cannot attend your birth or if labor becomes very prolonged.

After birth

After-birth care until the mother is settled, cleaned up, fed, and the baby is nursing.
Follow-up call 2 days after birth to check in.
Postpartum support for questions and concerns.
Postpartum doula visit 4 or 5 days after birth, or when requested, to check on the family and help in the home as needed.
Basic infant massage class for parents during the postpartum home visit.
Doula clients who sign paperwork and pay the deposit receive 10% off other massage services.

Before labor

Monthly in-home or virtual prenatal visits from 10 to 30 weeks for support, questions, and concerns.
Six prenatal visits around 10, 14, 18, 22, 26, and 28 weeks.
Initial visit within 2 weeks of hire to discuss early pregnancy questions and what to expect in the first and second trimesters.
Hybrid childbirth education class with online and virtual meetings, plus class 9 in person.
30 to 32 weeks: birth planning, education, and questions.
32 to 34 weeks: body balancing, massage, reflexology, acupressure, comfort measures, and relaxation techniques.
34 to 36 weeks: postpartum planning, breastfeeding class, and basic baby care for first-time parents.
24/7 on-call support starting 4 weeks before your due date.
Six 75-minute prenatal massages at 10, 14, 18, 22, 26, and 28 weeks.
Eight 90-minute prenatal massage body balancing sessions at 30, 32, 34, 36, 37, 38, 39, and 40 weeks.

During labor

Phone support during early labor.
Continuous support during active labor at home, at your birthplace, or both.
Mindy will arrive within 2 hours of being called, usually much less.
Simple photography services to document your birth experience, unless you prefer no photos or have specific photo requests.
Backup doula from the doula collective in case of unforeseen circumstances, prolonged labor, or unavailability. You may choose your preferred backup doula.

After birth

Post-birth care until you are settled, cleaned up, fed, and your baby is nursing.
Follow-up call the next day to check on your well-being.
Postpartum support for questions and concerns as you adjust to life with your newborn.
Postpartum belly binding services, including multiple-day wraps and a self-binding course.
First home visit when you return home or when requested, including family check-in, basic newborn care, and the first belly bind.
Second home visit 4 to 10 days postpartum, including recovery support, in-home help as needed, and a second belly bind.
Three 75-minute postpartum massages with optional belly binding.
Phone or text check-ins at 3 weeks, 6 weeks, 2 months, 3 months, and 6 months.
Priority referrals to postpartum doulas with exclusive discounts if more postpartum care is needed.
