Birth Boot camp comprehensive childbirth education. Birth Boot Camp is Not a “Method”
Birth Boot Camp is not a one size fits all approach. In all of our classes and trainings, we teach a variety of tools including relaxation, breathing, comfort measures, labor positions, affirmations, etc. to help everyone have an amazing experience. Our goal is to give as much information as possible so that no matter what kind of birth someone is planning they are able to make the decisions that are best for themselves and their baby.
You will only give birth to this baby once. The day you give birth will be a day that you will always remember. This day is priceless! It is worth investing your time, energy, and resources to fully prepare for an amazing birth.

What’s Included:
- Hospital-Specific Insight: Navigating inductions, hospital policies, and epidurals.

Home & Birth Center Prep Class
Price: $295
Format: 5 Sessions (In-Person or Hybrid)
Specialized Prep for Your Out-of-Hospital Birth Planning a birth at home or a birth center is a unique and empowering choice. With only about 2% of births occurring outside a hospital setting, you need a curriculum specifically designed for the rhythm of natural labor. This 5-session course dives deep into the techniques that make an unmedicated birth a positive and manageable experience.
What We Cover:
- Natural Labor Mastery: In-depth stages of labor and the physiological “why” behind the process.
- The Power of Relaxation: Mastering relaxation as the primary key to an unmedicated birth.
- Hands-On Support: Specific training for partners to ensure they are the ultimate birth support team.
- Navigating the Unexpected: Clear, calm discussions on hospital transfers, interventions, and cesareans, so you are prepared for every path.
Optional Add-On: “Life with Your New Baby” ($50)
Because this course is focused entirely on the birth process, many couples choose to add this 6th session to prepare for the “fourth trimester.”
- Focus: Newborn care, postpartum healing, and the transition to parenthood. Bonus Breastfeeding Mastery: Includes an online 3.5-hour Breastfeeding Class taught by Mellanie Shepherd, IBCLC.
- Format: Adds one extra meeting day to your series.
Express class with comfort measure workshop $250
Need the essentials without the time commitment? Our Express Class & Comfort Measures Workshop is a high-impact, two-day intensive designed to give you maximum preparation in just twelve hours. We cover the vital “ins and outs” of birth—from labor stages and birth plans to the realities of inductions, epidurals, and cesareans.
The Comfort Measures Advantage: This isn’t just a lecture; it’s a hands-on lab for you and your partner. We dive deep into labor and pushing positions, relaxation scripts, and physical tools to help you manage sensations with confidence.
This class is perfect for you if:
- You want to labor at home as long as possible before heading to the hospital.
- Your partner wants a clear “playbook” on how to support you actively.
- You are planning a natural birth but can’t commit to a 10-week series.
- You want to supplement your birth knowledge with physical “muscle memory.”
Includes a detailed Comfort Measures booklet for home practice.
From My Heart to Your Birth Journey
“I’ve always said that childbirth education is so much more than just a birth class.
The tools you learn in my classroom aren’t just for labor; they are life skills. I am passionate about helping families develop the critical thinking necessary to make the best decisions for their unique needs, the research skills to truly understand their options, and the relaxation techniques that you will eventually teach your own children.
I am so excited to be returning to my teaching roots! After 25 years in this space, I’ve realized that while I love ‘firehosing’ my doula clients with information, there is something so special about having the time and space in a classroom to truly dive deep.
By channeling everything I’ve learned over two decades into these classes, I can offer you a less time-crunched, more productive environment to build your confidence. I can’t wait to help you prepare for your amazing birth!”
